In 1998, the congregation started worshipping in a house located at 705 East Main Street, Warrenton, GA. Prior to this, there was no Church of Christ in Warren county. It was the successful mission of Minister Rodney and Brother Willis Daniels who worked hard seeking a meeting place in the area.

Piedmont Road Church of Christ and Lafayette Church of Christ provided strong and consistent financial support. The first worship service was held on April 19th, 1998, and nearly two hundred brethren and sisters in Christ were in attendance, including some family members, area residents and friend. There was one baptism on that day. The congregation consisted of twenty members at that time. We had fifty-five baptisms and faithful members
worshiping.
In 2004, six years later, with the help of several congregations, God blessed the congregation with a new church building located at 2175 Thomson and Warrenton Hwy. Minister Daniels oversaw the entire building project. Though we were few in number, God still blessed the work in Warren County. From July of 2012 to April of 2013, there were 8 baptisms. With the
congregation growth, we were able to perform over 100 baptisms over the years.
Similar to every other house of worship, COVID-19 impacted our church and our members. Following the guidelines and regulations for the safety of our members, we were forced to close our doors in March of 2020. Through Gods blessings, the doors of CCW are back open to the community.
